Inka Trail 12 Km (L, D)
Cusco – Wayllabamba
In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Kilometer 82, where the Inka trail begins. Cross the Vilcanota River and pass small farms before reaching the Inca fort of Willkaraccay and crossing the Cusichaca River, from which you will have a great view of the Urubamba mountain range and the snow capped peak of Veronica. Overnight: Camping at Wayllabamba

Inka Trail 12 Km (B, L, D)
Wayllabamba – Pacaymayo
Ascend from Wayllabamba and follow the Llulluchayoc River, which will bring you to Tres Piedras (three stones) and a small bridge over the Huayruro River.
Hiking further through spectacular terrain you’ll reach the first and highest pass of the trail: Warmiwañusqa (Dead Woman’s pass). This is the most difficult part of the trail.
Overnight: Camping at Pacaymayo

Inka Trail 17 Km (B, L, D)
Pacaymayo – Wiñaywayna
Climb up to Runkuracay site. Continue to second pass, Runcuracay. Later, reach the ancient town of Sayacmarca. Descend into magnificent cloud forest full of orchids, hanging mosses, tree ferns and flowers. Reach the third pass, and then Phuyupatamarca (City inside the Clouds). Descend 2000 stairs and arrive in Wiñaywuayna (Forever Young), the last campsite before Machupicchu.
Overnight: Camping at Wiñaywuayna

Inka Trail 5 Km (B)
Wiñaywayna – Machupicchu – Cusco
Wake up at 4:00 am. Hike the last part of the trail and reach Machupicchu to observe a stunning sunrise. Climb the final pass to Intipunku (the Gate of the Sun). Suddenly, the whole glory of Machupicchu is spread out before you. Enjoy your guided sunrise tour of Citadel. Afternoon, transfer to Aguas Calientes train Station to board your train back to Cusco.
